Golf Handicap

We have been informed that the USGA is phasing out “outside service providers” for Handicap Indexes starting in 2022 with a grace period. These recent changes may be affecting your handicap account.

The grace period for us ended June 30, 2022 so from that point forward we are no longer able to provide that service through our outside service provider as a bonus gift that we pay for on behalf of our customers.

If you do need to set up a GHIN handicap, you are now required by the USGA to purchase this through your local Golf Association.

Customers that Signed Up Prior to June 30th:

If your account status is "Paid" and active

If you signed up for the Handicap Service using our online "Handicap Sign Up Form" prior to June 30th, and your Handicap account falls under the grace period requirements, your Handicap account status will read as "Paid" and your USGA Handicap Index revision should update as you enter scores as in the past.

If your account status is "Trial"

If you signed up prior to June 30th and your account doesn't meet the grace period requirements, your account status will read as a "Trial Member". You will be able to enter scores for a Scoring Average and can enjoy the Stat Keeping options to enhance your game. Note, however, that the box for "Handicap Index" will read N/A.

If your account does meet the grace period requirements, your account status will read as a "Paid" Member and your USGA Handicap Index will be calculated.
If you are only receiving a "Trial" Membership and you need an Official USGA Handicap / GHIN number for 2022, you are now going to be required by the USGA to purchase this through your local Golf Association, or directly on the USGA website.

Handicap Assistance Form

It has been our pleasure these many years to be able to pay for this value-added bonus handicap service for our customers that wish to have it. These new USGA requirements have just recently been made known to us - so we are navigating these changes together.

We want to be sure that the customers that are "Paid" are receiving the service. We also want to assist as best we can as a liaison for those with questions.

We have set up a Handicap Assistance Form. We ask that All Handicap questions be documented through this form. You will need the following:

*Full Name
*Email Associated with Handicap Acct
*Your US Handicap Account #
*US Handicap "Club" Name
*US Handicap "Status" - Paid or Trial
